Good things come to those who wait, and that couldn’t be truer for the community of Altona.
Many members who visited our facilities in June will have noticed some major upgrades to the male and female aquatic changerooms. During this time the aquatic changerooms received a complete upgrade.
The facility upgrades included:
- A complete revamp of the showers
- New toilets
- Updated changing facilities
In addition to the aquatic upgrades, the female gym changerooms also had a change. A team of dedicated professionals removed the previous flooring and laid some new flooring. Our team is thrilled to announce that these works have been completed and our female gym changeroom looks incredible. In conjunction with these upgrades our team has also had the lockers repaired.
We would like to say a big thank you to Hobsons Bay City Council for their support of these works!
Although our changerooms are looking fabulous, there are still a few further maintenance upgrades for the male changerooms. The urinal area will remain closed over the next week, as they are currently being replaced. Further to this the roof in the male aquatic changerooms are scheduled to be revamped next month.
