BayFit Leisure Centre came alive with energy and community spirit during the 2026 Waves of Change event, raising vital funds for the BlueFit Foundation.
With an incredible 1,700 laps completed, the local community showed up in force, proving that every stroke can make a difference. From the high energy Aqua “Hour of Power” to the final moments of the Lap Challenge, the atmosphere was electric from start to finish.
As part of a combined effort across both BayFit and Lane Cove Aquatic Leisure Centre, more than $12,700 was raised, helping provide approximately 500 swimming lessons for children and communities who need them most.
This fantastic result wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our swimmers, volunteers, and supporters. Every lap, every donation, and every cheer from poolside contributed to something truly meaningful.
