  • Reopen 3:00pm – 9:00pm

We have exciting news, BayFit will be undergoing a steam room upgrade! These works will plan to start in June and will require a closure of the steam room for four weeks.

Watch this space for exact dates on the closure. We apologise in advance for any inconveniences but the wait will be worth it!

One-tray bake recipes are perfect for those short on time, especially in the evenings, and are looking for a quick and easy dinner solution to satisfy the whole family that won’t compromise their health. They provide maximum nutrition, with minimal prep time or dirty dishes. Plus, you can use almost any vegetable you have in the fridge.

Our One-Tray Mediterranean Vegetable Bake is super high in fibre which will help keep you feeling fuller for longer with each serve contains more than 6 serves of vegetables! Making it a very easy way to achieve the recommended goal of at least 5 serves of vegetables each day.

One-Tray Mediterranean Bake Recipe:

Serves 4

Prep time:

10 minutes

Cooking time:

Approximately 1 hour

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 x 400g can diced tomatoes
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 x 400g can brown lentils, drained & rinsed
  • 1 large eggplant, sliced 1cm thick
  • 4 small potatoes, sliced 1cm thick
  • 1 large zucchini, sliced 1cm thick
  • 1 small red capsicum, sliced 1cm thick
  • 12 kalamata olives
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 50g reduced fat feta, crumbled
  • ½ cup mozzarella
  • Chilli flakes, to serve (optional)
  • Black pepper, to serve (optional)
METHOD:
  1. In a large baking tray, mix together 1 can diced tomatoes (400g), garlic and lentils. Spread evenly over the base of the tray.
  2. Layer with eggplant, potato, zucchini and capsicum. Top with the second can of diced tomatoes (400g), sprinkle with oregano and scatter with olives. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 175ᵒC for 40 minutes.
  3. Top with feta and mozzarella and bake a further 15-20 minutes.
  4. Serve with chilli flakes and cracked pepper if desired.

As the winter season is upon us BayFit will have a slight change in hours.

Between the 1st of June – 31st of August our centre will close at 4pm on Sundays.

We hope to see you jump in for an earlier swim on that day of the week!

From February the 4th – 22nd of April our challengers across our 5 centres journeyed to a better place in their health and fitness journey. With training 4-5 days a week, nutrition was also a pivotal part of their journey in adopting a healthier lifestyle.

Our 8 Week Challenge Included:
– Exclusive challenge group training sessions
– Access to our 8 Week Challenge Portal
– Full Body Scan & Fitness Assessment
– Training Program & Meal Plan
– Nutrition Advice

To spice things up BlueFit offered a $2000 prize to the top female and male national winners. Congratulations to our National female winner, Aphrodite Cox from Bexley who lost 7.0kg and 7.1% in body fat and our National male winner, Robert Henry from BayFit who lost 13.5kg and 6.2% in body fat!

A huge shout out to our site winners who won a free 12-month membership:

Robert Henry, our overall national winner who lost 13.5kg and 6.2% in body fat & Deanna Kotevski who lost 7.6kg and 2.0% in body fat!

This is the first chapter of your new journey. Take what you have learned from the challenge and continue to apply it to your new lifestyle.

BlueFit is proud to have a dedicated and committed BlueFit Green team. This past year the team has been researching smart energy savings options and practices that will make all our sites in Australia more environmentally sustainable. We are implementing our initiatives in phases to ensure we are finding the best solutions to use in all our facilities.

Some initiatives are visible to customers and staff, such as the reduction of plastic in our cafes and the introduction of more drinking fountains to refill reusable bottles. Other initiatives are happening behind the scenes.

In our plant rooms, we have been installing variable speed drives (VSDs) on our mechanical equipment. These devices can power-down our equipment in times of low centre usage and power-up the equipment only when it is necessary – during peak usage. Our lights look the same, but many have already been replaced with LED fixtures. These fixtures are now significantly reducing our energy demands!

BlueFit Green’s next initiative is to introduce our own BlueFit “Keep Cup” and recycling bins throughout our centres. We are looking forward to seeing BlueFit blend more green in our surrounding environments, are you?

Join our Autumn Holiday Program and give them an advantage in the pool! The program consists of 30-minute classes run across 5 consecutive days. The program helps build confidence and progression through consistency and repetition.
